28th August

Tonight’s estimated aurora level:

Level 4 – High

Auroral activity should be at high levels. Weather permitting, aurora displays may be visible overhead or on the horizon in Trondheim (Norway), Vaasa (Finland), Sundsvall (Sweden) and Faeroe Islands.

We are still feeling the affects from the August 22nd CME’s that arrived a couple days ago. It is not believed we will reach G2 levels again, but certainly G1 is a possibility. I did previously write some text here about the CME(s) from 25th might arrive tonight. But I suspect they might already have arrived (merged with the previous CME’s) and that is why this activity is lasting uncharacteristically long.
