Forecast:
Auroral activity should be at high levels. Weather permitting, aurora displays may be visible overhead or on the horizon in Trondheim (Norway), Vaasa (Finland), Sundsvall (Sweden) and Faeroe Islands.

Comments:
kp4 to kp5 conditions are expected tonight due to CH HSS effects. With the possible arrival of the 09 Nov CME anticipated, which will likely re-initiate G1(kp5) storm conditions.

Level 3 – Medium

Forecast:
Auroral activity should be at medium levels. Weather permitting, aurora displays may be visible overhead or on the horizon in Mosjøen (Norway), Oulu (Finland), Luleå (Sweden) and Reykjavík (Iceland).

Comments:
The solar wind is still slightly elevated from the strong CH HSS activity a few days ago. Although it is slowly returning to ambient levels, there is still enough in it to produce decent aurora shows for far northern latitudes. Expecting predominantly kp3 levels, with a small chance for kp4.

Comments:
We have seen the best of the CME, is not likely we will see the extremely high activity/kp levels from last night, which was one of the best nights in the last 10 years! But there could still be enough left in it to provide a show for those around 60°N latitude and up, so kp4 – kp5 a possibility tonight.
